Hi @ammon - the Color.io app does not have a matching tool (yet). To match a source image to a sequence of images I suggest a combination of the Color.io app ( app.color.io ) and Match AI ( match.color.io )
Match AI supports matching image pairs: one source image to one reference image. If you want to match one source image to a sequence of images, you can move all images from the sequence into a single large image and use that collage as a reference.
You can create such collages very conveniently with app.color.io - just load your image sequence into the app, hit CTRL/CMD + A to select all images and toggle the "Fill" option. (see screenshot) Then just take a screenshot of the collage and drop that into Match AI as a custom reference. (see other screenshot).
Thanks for the suggestion. The problem would be that the screen shot would be low resolution. Once you get the option for the color matcher to be able to match full image sequences or video I would buy the program asap without question. So far this is the best color matcher I have found on the market and for I good price. I really like the fact that it is a one time purchase instead of the annoying and misleading monthly subscription plan. Thanks for getting back to me right away.
To to clarify I wanted the color matcher AI to use one custom image as the source for matching an image sequence making the image sequence the thing that was getting its color changed not using the image sequence as the source.
@ammon understood! This functionality would make the most sense to implement in app.color.io because it already supports loading image sequences which can be batch-edited. I'm currently working on improving the presets in app.color.io. One of the main new features will be to use AI to auto generate presets based on color palettes and reference images. Stay tuned!
