Hi @olivier - I think what you're asking is already possible: You can export your color grade as a 3D LUT and apply the LUT via an adjustment layer. Then use the masking feature of the adjustment layer to remove parts of the grade. Similarly, you could composite a fully color graded image from Color.io over the unedited image in Photoshop, then mask out the parts you want to isolate.
Is this what you're looking for or is there another way of doing that you had in mind? Thank you!
@monokee Hello
In fact i would like to make the color grading on color io and then directly export in photoshop. Then in masking the zone i don't want color graded i could have my image without exporting the luts.
Is it possible ?
Thanks

@olivier so you would like to export a PSD file that contains the ungraded image as a background layer and the graded image as another layer on top? That would be quite convenient as it would save the additional step of opening both images manually. I'll see what I can do. For now, my recommended way of achieving the same thing but with 2 extra steps is to just open the image in Photoshop and export a full-res PNG or TIFF from Color.io and drag it into Photoshop for masking! (See screenshots)
@olivier just came across this old post and thought I'd let you know that I built a "Render to clipboard" function into Color.io. Just right-click on the image and select "Copy". This will render a full resolution lossless image and save it to your clipboard. You can easily paste that into an open Photoshop document. Similarly, you can now copy images out of Photoshop into Color.io. Hope this improves your workflow! 🙌
Hello did you find a solution to import directly in photoshop after color grading in color.io ??
Thank you for the answer
Render to clipboard and then copy in photoshop doesn't work for me
Hi @olivier - why does Render to clipboard not work? What would you like to achieve exactly? Thanks!
Hello i would like to have my photo retouched with color io directly in photoshop . I received a message to render to clipboard and then copy the retouched version in photoshop
it doesn't work and i would like to ask you if it's possible to transfer directly from color io to photoshop ?
If no can you work on this ?
