I think it would be great if you guys could add a kodachrome simulation and other extinct film stocks. Kodachrome was one of the most popular slide film stocks but has been extinct for many years now. Examples would be Fred Herzog, Saul Leiter, Alex Webb, Chien-Chi Chang, etc.
Secondly, a standalone app or integration with LR + PS. Right now the editing tools are severely limited... or perhaps the tools are not clear. For instance, every image seems to have a bloom effect on the highlights. Controlling halation is clear, but I also want to reduce the bloom effect to an extent. I'm not sure if that's done with the highlight scatter? But when I used it,it simply changed the color of the scatter rather than the intensity.
I think generally the editing tools could offer a lot more control for photographers. Otherwise the film emulation is amazing and I would love to use it more, but the above is why I don't see a strong usecase for me at this moment.
Hi @jeffrey1249 - thanks for checking out my app and sending in this request!

The User Guide covers every single tool in great detail. I hope I didn't miss anything! https://www.color.io/user-guide/color-grading-tools
"(...) every image has a bloom effect"
That should not be the case. When no preset is selected and no edits have been made otherwise there is usually no bloom effect. The default application state is completely neutral and does not alter the image at all. Make sure you're on "No Preset".
If you have a preset selected and that preset has highlight bloom, you'll want to turn Halation and Diffusion all the way down.
"(...) the editing tools could offer a lot more control for photographers"
Could you elaborate? What would you like to see specifically?
Thanks again!

Regarding the bloom effect: as you mentioned, it occurs when a film preset is selected. What I am requesting is an option to control the bloom effect as well, rather than increasing it by default. That is, add a tool/slider to reduce/increase bloom.
I guess one more request: For the before/after tool, add an option/hotkey to toggle between the before/after. For myself personally, I find sliding between the before/after image messes with my eyesight and especially my ability to distinguish between subtle changes. Most editing software has a hotkey/button to toggle between before/after. Maybe even just get rid of the slider altogether and change it to a simple toggle.
Otherwise, I will check the rest of the tips you mentioned. Thank you.
