Hi @nathan1750 - this is most definitely due to some firewall or antivirus app running in the background. Some systems flag xmp files and auto quarantine them. Please make sure that there are no browser extensions or system wide antivirus/firewall apps interfering with color.io.
When you install color.io to your desktop you should be able to more easily white list the app.
I'm a software engineer, I should have seen this coming.
Putting a
/
in the scene name breaks the export because the scene name is used as the file name and probably some folder not found issue arises. Although I didn't see anything like that in the console log when I had checked on my original issue report. This was on windows, only the default microsoft antivirus. I usually use firefox but have color.io installed as a PWA under chrome, so there should be no chrome plugins interfering.
I later got an XMP to download after saving the preset, opening a new scene, fiddling around and then trying the export again. I haven't had time to test and see if this is repeatable on that machine/browser so I'll do that as well as try to export that preset on some other browsers and machines and report back (sorry I didn't have time to put up a more thorough bug report, wanted to get something out there in case there were some known issues)
