Could you upload the tiff file somewhere and send me a link? There’s definitely a limit to how much data you can load into browser memory and Firefox may perform much worse than Chromium based browsers. That said, these cases should definitely be detected and fall back to lower resolutions if possible. This is how I’m handling things in Safari (which is even worse than Firefox btw and only allows 16 million pixels no matter how much memory the device has…)
You can send the link to jonathan@color.io or post it here! Thanks!
Thanks! I tried the 100 MB, a 22 MB and a 15MB version. Of course the effect gets smaller with smallerfiles, but it is still there and inacceptable. I need big files. Is the desktop version different? Or the Plugin for Photoshop?
I uploaded and exported without any changes...

Any idea? Or is it like this on color.io ?
Thanks, THomas
@th682 This is definitely not how its supposed to be but Tiff might be the limiting factor. Does this also happen with PNG files? Tiff doesn't support hardware decoding/encoding and it's generally not advised to use Tiff in the 21st century.
Unfortunately I couldn't download the files from your google drive because I was denied access...
Hi Jonathan, thanks for answering.
I tried smaller tiffss and png in Firefox and Chrome. Smaller files show less steps, but still inaceptable. I changed the access at google drive. Should work now.

Still hope? TK
Are you going to answer my question, or is it just imposible to work with big files in color .io? Thanks, Thomas
