Sounds very useful. I can probably make it so that the zoom level of each image is memorized instead of resetting the zoom whenever the active image is swapped out. I'd prefer that over having a global zoom level that applies to all images.
@monokee Even better yet 🙏 didn't know how to put in words a seamless way of doing so and you nailed it. The only potencial Issue I see is on larger sets of images > one would have to first zoom in a group of photos (15 for example) and then start comparing once the preferred zoom is set.
Can't think of a seamless way to "tell" other images in a set to zoom once one is set on zoom % on the active image 🤔
@gfc I've implemented the described behaviour where each texture memoizes its own zoom and position properties as the new default behaviour. I think it's a great improvement!
The use case of zooming into multiple textures at the same time is not implemented and I'm not sure I'll do it at this point because it seems like a bit of an edge case that can now be achieved with a little bit of extra work.
Actually, there might be a decent way to integrate the multi-zoom behaviour: I could add an "Apply Zoom to all images" action to the context menu for images. Let me try that real quick....
@gfc actually I won't implement this "Apply zoom to all images" for now. Too many edge cases and weird behaviours for different media orientations and resolutions, cropped media etc that doesn't make this as straight forward as it should be.
@monokee better give it time until it's implementation is seamless
Don't know If I should propose this through here or a new Suggestion > IMPLEMENT ZOOM TO CLICK POSITION, meaning when one zooms, the image always zooms to the center, my suggestion would be implementing a zoom to the position one clicks making that the zone to close in and center (or as close as posible)
