Are you looking for a way to import an existing LUT?
Third party LUT import is not currently supported, mainly for two reasons:
That said, the next version of Color.io (v2) introduces the ability to re-import any LUT that has been created with Color.io. This enables users to change the input/output profile or make adjustments to the creative parts of any LUT created with Color.io.
If you still want to import third party LUTs into Color.io please let me know and I will turn this question into a Feature Request so other can vote and share their ideas on the best way to handle this. Thank you so much for your feedback!

@roma - please see my earlier comments on the same question. LUTs would need to be fully color managed and in ACEScct to work in Color.io. It's usually better (and should be quite easy) to rebuild the LUT with the tools in Color.io.
Feel free to send me one or two LUTs to jonathan@color.io and I'll show you how I would approach rebuilding a LUT with the app!
Are there any tutorials on how to do a rebuild of 3DL or Cube file? (Originally created in photoshop)
when I shoot, I start with one of Sonys Lo-Con 50-50 lut for the Sony Venice. Id like to have it as a starting point so me to create a viewing lut in Color.io . its incredibly convenient to sit with a director on my calibrated iPad Pro and set a Quick Look , export a viewing lut and set that for the day.
